2009 Fermi Baseball Golf Tournament

The Fermi Baseball Booster Club would like to thank all that participated in the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament as well as those who supported the team in getting hole sponsors, raffle prizes, volunteering and/or playing golf.

A special thanks to Jim Kraucunas for organizing the event. He did a great job and should be commended for his efforts.

Hartford Public 05-21-09

5/21/09- Fermi 19 Hartford Public 1- The Fermi Boys' Baseball team has qualified for the CIAC Class L State Tournament for the third time in 28 years with a 19-1 victory at Fermi. Matt Mayo paced the Falcons with 5 hits. Jeff Kraucunas had a big day also, adding 4 hits and two runs scored. Anthony Nai, Pat Bordeau, Andrew Roy, Doug Giaccone, and Ryan Bakes all had multiple hit games for Fermi. Matt Keene picked up his 4th win on the mound this season. The Falcons close out their regular season at home on Tuesday against E.O. Smith. All seniors will be honored in a pre-game ceremony.
