Fermi Makes It 6 Straight! Breton Throws No-Hitter!

Fermi won its 6th straight game Friday, shutting out E.O. Smith 10-0.  The offense was led by Alex Zachary and Trevor Breton, who each smashed home runs.  Trevor Breton threw a complete game no-hitter while striking out 13.  Trevor helped his own cause by hitting a homerun and driving in 3.  Alex Zachary assisted with the offense attack by going 3 for 4 with 5 RBI and a 2 run homerun. Pat Bordeau was 2 for 2 with an RBI and two runs scored. Zachary and Andrew Roy made outstanding plays on defense to secure the no-hitter for Breton.

This was Fermi's 3rd straight shutout, outscoring their opponents 35-0 in the 3 games.  Fermi is now 11-5 on the season and has won 10 of its last 12 games.  The Falcons are on the road at Rocky Hill on Saturday in a makeup game at 3:45pm.
